Skipper Charles has gained extensive experience in freshwater fishing in Europe and on the north and south coasts of France, where he spent most of his time. His expertise ranges from catching sea bass and massive river pikes to spearkfishing and catching Breton lobsters. Since living in New Zealand, Charles has immersed himself in the diverse marine life unique to the country – whether that’s diving for crayfish, fishing for kingfish, or reeling in Golden Snapper – his personal favourites.

Charles also has an immense passion for cooking. Hailing from Luxembourg in the middle of Europe provides an ideal foundation for mastering culinary skills in both the French and Mediterraean kitchens. If you book one of our fish & cooking trips, get ready for a delightful culinary journey. Equipped with an onboard Traeger, there are (almost) no limits.
