Overview
We are the Bay of Plenty’s experts when it comes to target BIG Golden Snapper, MASSIVE Tarakihi and some awesome bycatch such as Kingfish, John Dory & Gemfish. Be prepared for a fun day on the water!
We use a variety of techniques such as jiggs, coin drops & bait. There is also an option for electric reels for the more ‘relaxed’ fisho who wants to impress his fishing buddies and spend more time enjoying the easiness.
Bonus: We usually come across some wildlife on our tours, so keep your eyes open for dolphins, seals, penguins, sharks and even the occasional whale or orca. We also come across big work-ups the size of football fields which are extremely fun to fish and catch Kahawai, Trevally and Kingfish.
Tour departs at 7am from the boat ramp and returns around 2pm.
